Contract, Full Time Responsibilities
- Specialization in RF and/or telecommunications engineering;
- Knowledge of ground equipment and satellite payload performance;
- Highly skilled at optimizing link budget analyses to achieve overall system performance;
- Proficient with MATLAB, Agi, C++ SPA, ProE, AUTOCAD to model complex communication systems;
- Understanding of protocols for satellite communications and remote sensing
- Expert at analyzing interference of shared spectrum;
- Familiarity with advanced wireless networks such as FTE, 5G;
- Ability to attend to complex problems, solutions and recommendations;
- Strong speaking and written English
Skills and & Qualifications
- B.Eng or Masters Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in satellite system design.
- The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
- Ability to travel abroad.
